Stewart families,
Just a friendly reminder our car rider line has a "Stop & Drop" lane in the mornings. This is a service provided in the maroon lane only and the drop off times are from 7:10-7:25 a.m. For monitoring and safety purposes, students in the blue lane must wait in their vehicle until our car rider duty staff arrive at 7:30 a.m. If you prefer to use the Stop & Drop lane, please be sure to join the correct lane of traffic. After 7:25 a.m., all vehicles should enter the lane they are assigned based on their address and the direction they enter the Stewart parking lot. During Stop & Drop times, there is a staff member monitoring students crossing the cross walk and a staff member monitoring students on the porch. Please be sure to have your student/s wear their jackets while waiting on the front porch. Students will be let in the building at 7:30 a.m. when our staff arrives. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep our students safe and our arrival process running smoothly!
Recently, we have had families place transportation changes utilizing the Home Access Center/Parent Portal. Our campus does not utilize this process as it emails teachers the change and, due to teaching, teachers do not always see the email when it comes through. To ensure your child's transportation change is received, please continue to email all transportation changes to our campus receptionist at betaguilar@conroeisd.net.
School attendance directly correlates to student success! Please make every effort to have your child at school each day, on time, and for the full duration of the school day. Instruction begins at 7:55 a.m. If your student is not inside the building by 7:55 a.m., please park, walk your child inside, and sign your child in for the day. Please do not drop your child off in front of the school after 7:55 a.m. as this is a safety concern. As a friendly reminder, students must be present at least 90% of the school year. Missed instructional minutes due to tardies or early dismissals add up to missed instructional days. Our instructional day goes goes from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Thank you for partnering with us to maximize our instructional day and to help your student grow!
