Transportation changes must be received by 1:30pm.

You are permitted to sign your child out between 2:15pm and 2:30pm.

History & Namesake

Jean Stewart

Stewart Elementary opened in 2014 in the Woodforest community of Conroe, Texas. The school is named for Dr. Jean Stewart, who devoted 40 years of service to Conroe ISD, first as a teacher at Travis Junior High, as well as assistant principal at Rice Elementary, principal at Giesinger Elementary, and several roles in administration throughout her career. She was named Deputy Superintendent in 2003 and retired in 2011. Dr. Stewart passed away in 2024 at the age of 75.
